The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation is kicking off the countdown to our next annual festival with a favorite tradition—the 18th Annual BBQ & Blues T-Shirt Design Contest! We’re inviting student artists to create the official artwork for the 2026 BBQ & Blues Festival T-shirt. Your design could be the one thousands of fans, volunteers, and participants wear with pride across the Gulf Coast.
“This contest is a wonderful way for local students to express themselves and take pride in their community. Each year, the creativity of our young artists brings a fresh, fun look to the festival,” said Rachel Spear, event coordinator with the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.

Tips for a Standout Design
Think simple, striking shapes and strong contrast—your art should read clearly on a T-shirt from several feet away.
Let the imagery do the talking—since letters and dates are added later, focus on the visual story.
Consider how colors will translate to screen printing; clean lines and defined areas tend to reproduce best.
Whether you love sketching farm animals, riffing on blues motifs, or celebrating the spirit of our schools and community, we can’t wait to see your creativity shine. Sharpen those pencils, power up your tablets, and send in your design by January 9—your art could become an iconic part of the 2026 BBQ & Blues Festival!
