2026 Foley BBQ & Blues Cook Off Announces T-Shirt Design Contest Winner

The 18th Annual Foley BBQ & Blues Cook Off, presented by RiverView Turf, is proud to announce the winner of the 2026 T-Shirt Design Contest. Foley High School student Soledad Sanchez has been selected as this year’s winner, and her artwork will be featured on the official 2026 BBQ & Blues event t-shirt.


Each year, students from the 14 schools supported by the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation are invited to submit original artwork for the event’s official t-shirt. The top 25 student designs will be showcased during the festival, with attendees able to view the winning designs — including Soledad’s.


The 18th Annual Foley BBQ & Blues Cook Off returns to Heritage Park on Saturday, March 14, bringing award-winning barbecue, live music, food trucks, craft and retail vendors, and a kids’ zone to downtown Foley.


The Cook Off begins at 10 AM and is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. More than 30 backyard division cook teams from across the Gulf Coast will compete for the Grand Championship title and additional top prizes. The team earning the highest total in People’s Choice donations will receive a traveling trophy to display at their business for the year.


The festival is hosted by the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation, an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of students in our community. For more than 20 years, the Foundation has focused on developing leadership, enriching education, and improving the quality of life throughout South Baldwin County. All proceeds from the Cook Off benefit the Foundation.


Saturday Cook-Off Schedule (10 AM - 4 PM)

  • Admission: $15 (purchase onsite only)

  • Children 12 & under: Free

  • Gates open & craft, retail, food vendors, and kids’ zone open at 10 AM

  • BBQ samples begin at 11 AM

  • Live music from 10 AM - 4 PM featuring Foley High School bands, Chitlin Switch, and The Defrosters

  • Cook Team Awards begin at 4 PM
