Calling Student Artists: Help Design the 2027 BBQ & Blues Festival T-Shirt
Updated: Oct 23
The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation is kicking off the countdown to the next annual festival with a favorite tradition—the 19th Annual BBQ & Blues T-Shirt Design Contest! We’re inviting student artists to put their creativity to work and design the official T-shirt artwork for the 2027 BBQ & Blues Cook-Off. Your design could be worn by festival fans, volunteers, and participants across the Gulf Coast!
“The T-shirt design contest gives our local students an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents while celebrating the community they call home. We look forward to seeing the unique ideas and creativity they bring to this year’s festival,” said Rachel Spear, Events Director of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.

Tips for a Standout Design
Keep it bold and simple. Use strong shapes and clear imagery that will stand out on a T-shirt.
Let your artwork tell the story. Since event lettering and logos will be added later, focus on creating an eye-catching visual.
Think about color and contrast. Defined shapes and clean lines can help your artwork stand out when printed.
We can’t wait to see the creativity of our local student artists shine!
The Annual BBQ & Blues Cook-Off is more than a day of great food and music—it directly supports the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation and its mission to enrich education across its 14 area schools. By participating in this contest, students have the opportunity to showcase their talent while contributing to an event that gives back to their community.
Sharpen those pencils, fire up those tablets, and get creative! Your artwork could become part of the 19th Annual BBQ & Blues Cook-Off on March 13, 2027!
