MARCH 12, 2022
about.
The annual BBQ & Blues Cook-off started in 2009 as one of the Foundations biggest fundraisers. It is an outdoor food and music event held in Downtown Foley’s Heritage Park the second Saturday of March. An Alabama Barbecue Association Trail and Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event, the barbecue cook-off attracts both corporate and individual teams competing for bragging rights in several award categories. Festival goers enjoy great food, popular blues bands and children’s activities. All proceeds support the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of event sponsors and volunteers, the impact on our community and schools increases each year.
New this year – Friday Night Kick-off event! Join us from 5-9 pm March 11th for live entertainment and a DRAWDOWN! Enjoy performances by Logan Spicer, Mike Diamond, Josh Newcom, and Tim Roberts. Tickets for Friday night are $10; includes entry to the drawdown and must be purchased in advance. Food trucks and beverages sales will be open for business; no children’s activities available. Note: Tickets for Saturday’s cook-off are sold separately.
